We have looked to lessen our ‘carbon footprint’ by recycling all of our scrap packing material and paper products.
Framing has come a long way in recent years. Advances in glass manufacturing have brought the price of UV glass from astronomical to attainable. Research of the chemical make-up of framing materials has brought us full circle in our view of art preservation - chemically inert and acid-free substrates such as cotton rag paper can last for millennia, so we don’t take chances with your art - we use cotton rag mats!
Along this same line of forward thinking, we have looked to offer more environmentally sustainable products such as: Laville Moulding made in Louisiana from reclaimed barnwood, or Larson-Juhl’s new PEFC certified “Biltmore Collection” which uses sustainably harvested lumber from Asheville, North Carolina. We have also looked to lessen our “carbon footprint” by recycling all of our scrap packing material and paper products. We care!
